Healing Power Therapy is State of Oregon Approved Mental Health Clinic with Certificate of Approval (COA). It is a growing outpatient behavioral health practice providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed mental health and substance use services throughout Oregon. We are located at 555 SE MLK JR BLVD Suite 105, Portland, OR 97214

We are State of Oregon Approved Integrated Co-occurring Disorder Program (ICOD) and Culturally and Linguistic Specific Servicer Providers (CLSS).

We are seeking Mental Health Therapists and Clinical Associates to join our growing team. We welcome applications from both associate-level clinicians working toward independent licensure and fully licensed mental health professionals.

Our clinicians work with diverse individuals (Children and Adults), couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use/co-occurring disorders, relationship concerns, adjustment difficulties, and other behavioral health needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working with diverse individuals and families and want to provide evidence-based, person-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.

Position Responsibilities
Provide individual psychotherapy and, when appropriately trained, couples and family therapy.
Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical
documentation.
Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavioral health services.
Work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, adjustment concerns, relationship
difficulties, substance use/co-occurring disorders, and other behavioral health needs.
Develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clients.
Coordinate care with other providers and community resources when appropriate.
Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, and professional development.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Oregon laws and regulations, payer requirements, and applicable
professional ethical standards.

Requirements

Qualifications
Required:

Graduate degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or another qualifying behavioral health discipline.

Appropriate Oregon clinical license, associate registration, or eligibility for the applicable credential.

Ability to provide services within your education, training, license, and scope of practice.

Strong communication, clinical documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

Preferred:
Experience in outpatient mental health or behavioral health.
Experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
Telehealth experience.
Experience serving immigrant, refugee, BIPOC, multicultural, or underserved communities.
Bilingual or multilingual clinical skills.

Multilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply but NOT a requirement. Languages such as Somali, Maay Maay, Swahili/Kiswahili, Arabic, and Spanish are particularly valuable.

Benefits

Caseload & Employment Options
Part-Time: Minimum of 8 completed client sessions per week.
Full-Time: Minimum of 15 completed client sessions per week, with the opportunity to build toward a larger caseload based on client availability, clinician preference, and practice needs.
Clinicians may have flexibility in scheduling and may provide services through telehealth and/or in-person appointments.

Compensation
Healing Power Therapy uses a commission-based compensation model based on collected clinical session revenue.
  • 8–14 completed sessions/week: 50% of collected session revenue
  • 15–20 completed sessions/week: 55% of collected session revenue
  • 21–25 completed sessions/week: 60% of collected session revenue
  • 26+ completed sessions/week: 65% of collected session revenue
The percentage applies to collected clinical revenue attributable to the clinician's completed and properly documented sessions.
Actual compensation per session varies based on payer reimbursement, insurance plan, CPT code, session length, and other applicable billing factors.
